Is there a way to group a set of VMs for vSphere replication so I have ensure application consistency in a DR event. For example, take Microsoft SharePoint which we separate into three servers, application, DB and reporting services. All have a 4 hour RPO. If we had a DR scenario, the recovered VMs will have different replication timestamps. The DB might 3 hours since last replication but the application only 5 minutes out of sync. This could cause consistany problems with dependencies.
I want to ensure as much as possible the replication point in time is the same.
Any ideas?
